Acceptance of award

Each year the City of Prince George Advisory Committee on Accessibility selects an organization, business or individual to be recognized with the Access Award of Merit. This Award is the highest honour granted by the City of Prince George in recognition of contributions to universal inclusiveness to improve the quality of life for all residents in this northern community. The nominations for the award are brought forward from members of the public.

This year the Tabor Mountain Recreation Society is the winner of the award. Congratulations and thanks are due to all volunteers of the organization who helped to make recreation more accessible for everyone.
